In 2009, Susan gave Cumbria Wildlife Trust 35 acres of land at Houghton. This ensures that this land on the edge of Carlisle will remain organically farmed in perpetuity. We have a strong relationship with Cumbria Wildlife Trust, who have invested in a series of ponds and an all weather accessible track across the farm. Staff meet regularly to share expertise, ideas and to compare wildlife sightings on the site.
