In 2021,as part of the Youth Futures programme for 16-19 year olds in the Carlisle area, Susan's Farm hosted an exhaustive programme over 4 weeks – from animal care to conservation and building social skills. It was a Partnership between Work & Learn – led by Community Learning Manager Mandy Morland- Susan’s Farm and Cumbria County Council.

To celebrate the final day the gang cooked and prepared a final meal – spaghetti bolognese and an exceedingly tasty Plum crumble – made from fruit for the farm orchard.
